India STM 2017 - One in Christ's Love

12 hours to Korea and 8 hours to New Delhi later... Much has happened even before entering the mission field. Our first flight was delayed by 2 hours. Praise the Lord that we still had an hour to spare for the next flight.

Arriving in New Delhi, we discover that one of our team member's luggage didn't make it to India. The reason for such happening is still unknown, but I guess trials come in the most unexpected moments. With the entire team baffled by the incident, my team of four for Hanumangahr splits off from the rest and loads onto our taxi. Little did we know that seven (7) of us, four team members and three locals, would have to squeeze in a four seater car. It surprises me that in such a short time, so much can happen. God has been faithful though. Perhaps it's during the most hectic seasons that our spirits feel peace. As trials come back and forth, I realize that the Lord's work is being done in this place.

In the plane I read Galatians 3, where Paul discusses the needed faith for salvation. I pray that even in the struggles that the first day brings, that at the end of all of this, God's children may be able to call themselves "one in Christ Jesus" (v.28).
